COACH: Michelle Becroft

Michelle Becroft

Michelle played golf as an amateur throughout Victoria and Australia representing the State before deciding to choose a career in Pro Shop Management and Coaching.

Michelle was one of the first females in the country to complete a PGA traineeship at the prestigious National Golf Club in 1996.

Michelle ran the Oakleigh Public Golf Course where the Swingen Misses Club was formed to provide a comfortable learning experience for female beginners. Michelle's passion for coaching then took her to the Melbourne Golf Academy for the past 13 years coaching full time under the guidance of world class coaches.

Michelle was the assistant state development coach in 2004 / 05 and the senior coach for Women's Golf Victoria 2007 / 08 / 09 for both the junior and senior teams.

Michelle has been a key note speaker for the PGA to both PGA members and trainees on providing a comfortable coaching environment for woman and understanding the female anatomy for golf.

Michelle provides a simplistic approach to improvement, focusing on basic fundamentals and coaches men, women and children of all ages and abilities. Michelle's goal is to coach one of her juniors to becoming a world class player, and to assist as many people as possible to becoming golfers with a passion for this great game.

Michelle is available for private lessons on the following days:

  • Monday 10.30am ~ 8.30pm
  • Thursday 10am ~ 8.30pm

Pricing for private lessons:

  • 30 minute adult ~ $60
  • 1 hour adult ~ $105
  • 30 minute junior (under 18) ~ $43.50
  • 1 hour junior (under 18) ~ $82.00

Michelle also conducts Shortgame, Fullswing, Putting/Bunker and Chipping/Pitching clinics various days of the week, which are ideal for those looking to sharpen their skills. Please click here for more information.
